A chance to race round the Athens of the North (or the Rejkavic of the South, depending on your point of view – see Jumpers by Tom Stoppard for details). The Edinburgh Marathon also includes a half marathon, team relay, 5k, 10k and junior races. It’s a big event with a large number of affiliated charities to run for.
